Earthquake Mobilization by Cengiz Holding

Cengiz Holding, which convened its disaster coordination team as of yesterday morning, mobilized with its group companies and subsidiaries to support earthquake zones.

ISTANBUL (AA) - Having gathered its disaster coordination team since yesterday morning, Cengiz Holding, together with its group companies and subsidiaries, mobilized to support the earthquake regions.

According to a statement released by the company, Cengiz Holding convened its disaster coordination team to quickly support the disaster victims following the earthquake disaster, the epicentre of which was Kahramanmaraş and affected 10 provinces. The Holding provided construction machinery, equipment, vehicles, technical teams, and rescue teams to the region.

Cengiz Holding, which supports search and rescue efforts with its group companies Eti Bakır, Eti Alüminyum, Cengiz Enerji, Cengiz İnşaat and its subsidiaries Kalehan Enerji, İGA, Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım (BEDAŞ), Çamlıbel Elektrik Dağıtım (ÇEDAŞ), Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım (AEDAŞ) and Meram Elektrik Dağıtım (MEDAŞ), continues to work in coordination with governorships, AFAD and public institutions and organizations.

Cengiz Holding, which provides construction machinery, equipment, and vehicle support to earthquake zones, has also dispatched technical teams to use these vehicles and specialized rescue teams working in mining enterprises to earthquake zones. So far, 20 excavators, 5 cranes, 45 trucks, 13 4X4 vehicles, 5 vehicles with platform, 2 fuel tankers, 2 loaders, 2 bobcats, 5 wheel loaders, 4 light towers, 25 low beds, 66 generators, 10 transformer poles, 40 floodlights and a large amount of humanitarian aid materials have been sent to the earthquake zone.

In addition to 368 search and rescue teams and 180 technical teams including drivers, engineers, foremen, operators and engineers for construction machinery, Cengiz Holding has also accelerated its humanitarian aid efforts in the earthquake zone and shipped 30,000 items of clothing, heaters and blankets to the earthquake zone.
