Met-Gün Group, a renowned Turkish corporation, has embarked on a transformative journey in Spain through its subsidiary, Luminous Renewable Energy. By teaming up with ISE Energy from the Gransolar Group, they have signed an EPC agreement, paving the way for two important photovoltaic endeavors. These initiatives, located in Soria and Zaragoza, are poised to deliver a combined output of 23 MWp, enhancing the adoption of renewable energy and solidifying Met-Gün's global reputation.
🌍 Insight into the Zaragoza Initiative
The Zaragoza project is meticulously crafted to accommodate an 11.32 MWp capacity with the deployment of 16,408 bifacial modules, each contributing 690 Wp. These modules, supplied by PVHardware of Gransolar Group, are supported by single-axis solar tracking systems. This synergy is predicted to generate over 21,000 MWh per year, significantly boosting energy efficiency and setting a new benchmark in the renewable energy landscape.
🌍 Examining the Soria Initiative
While both initiatives have ambitious targets, the Soria project holds particular significance:
1. Technical Aspects
The Soria installation is equipped with a capacity of 11.79 MWp, employing 16,968 modules paired with single-axis tracking solutions, similar to the Zaragoza endeavor. This setup aims to produce over 20,000 MWh annually, with both projects collectively anticipated to generate an admirable total exceeding 41,000 MWh/year.
2. Future Goals
Luminous Renewable Energy is executing these projects as part of a strategic drive to achieve 1 GW capacity in Spain within the forthcoming three years. Such significant investments are envisioned to fortify the company’s leadership in Spain's energy market, reinforcing its role in promoting sustainable energy resources and scaling production capabilities.
